The dog days of summer will be here soon, but Buick and GMC models make it easy to stay cool with modern conveniences. The following standard and available features provide relief from the heat.*

Comprehensive Controls

Buick and GMC passengers can enjoy the multi-zone automatic climate control system with intuitive air temperature sensors, air filtration, and automatic cabin-air dehumidifier and de-ionizer. The multi-zone systems offer separate temperature and airflow settings for the driver and passengers. The temperature sensors help the system to know when the desired cabin temperature has been reached and automatically reduce air flow to maintain that temperature instead of continuing to blast cold air. The air filtration, de-ionizer, and dehumidifier work constantly to keep the cabin air crisp, clean, and dry.

One-Touch Panoramic Power Moonroof

There's nothing more refreshing on a hot day than opening all the windows and the moonroof and feeling the breeze blow through your hair. Buick and GMC models really make it a breeze with one-touch panoramic power moonroofs. With the single press of a button, the huge moonroof opens and you can breathe again.

Go Topless

If the expansive panoramic moonroofs are not enough for you, how about taking off the roof entirely? There's not much in the world that's more liberating than cruising down the road in the luxurious Buick Cascada convertible.

Integrated Sunshades

Of course, the sun can bake a car like an oven, so the Buick Lacrosse Avenir offers a retractable power sunshade for rear passengers. The shade is conveniently built into the rear window frame and automatically slides up to shade passengers in the rear. When not in use, the shade simply slides down and disappears into the frame.

Ventilated Seats

Several Buick and GMC models offer perforated seats that can provide quick personal ventilation for passengers in the front seats. The perforations in the seat material wick air away from the occupants, quickly cooling to a comfortable temperature.

Pre-Conditioned Cabins

Thanks to the latest in connectivity, Buick and GMC drivers can air condition the cabin before they even open the car doors. Simply download either the myBuick or myGMC app on a compatible smartphone and sync the app to your vehicle. The app can be used for many remote control functions like locking and unlocking doors. It can also be used for remote engine start for select Buick and GMC models, so you can start your car remotely and cool down the cabin before you hit the road. Plus, many Buck and GMC models offer remote start functions on the vehicle's key fob.
